The BEZWA2 project, as the name says, is follow-up to BEZWA project (2020-2022) - Building the European Zero Waste Academy.
About Building a European Zero Waste Academy (BEZWA) 2
In this project we will be updating the Zero Waste Ambassador, Zero Waste Trainer curricula and the Zero Waste Training Handbook, that were created in the first project, and bringing them together with courses developed by Mission Zero Academy. The project aims to create one coherent learning hub on zero waste in Europe and to provide certification of those competences. Our mission is to empower environmental enthusiasts and professionals with the knowledge, skills, and recognition needed to support Europe’s transition towards a sustainable, circular, and zero waste future.
Project activities
- Updating Zero Waste Training Handbook in English, French, Estonian, Slovenian and Ukrainian
- Updating the existing zero waste courses
- Creating 3 new courses on zero waste
- Aligning the existing competences’ certification-accredidation systems into one
- 3 onsite courses for Zero Waste City Certification Mentors and Auditors – Slovenia, Estonia, Ukraine
- 3 onsite networking events – Ukraine, Belgium, Estonia
- Many online learning and networking possibilities for the zero waste professionals.
